We have changed batteries, re-coded etc, remote works sporadically. The remote will turn on other components, could there be a problem with the remote receiver in the TV? Can it be fixed?
You just may have a bad remote . remotes go bad in strange ways sometimes messing up a program for just the tv and all other things iits programed for are fine . the recever in the tv is rock solid i have NEVER had one go bad on a modern tv (tv made in the last 20 years) try a new remote and enjoy.............
