Your saw has a reset button inside the magnetic switch assembly. You may need to pull the cover off to reset it. Unplug the saw first.
Consult the user manual p47 at this link, if you don't have yours handy. http://edge.woodstockint.com/manuals/w1711ext_m.pdf
If that doesn't do it, look to a breaker in your fuse box.
i hope this does the trick. If so, please take a sec to rate this post. Otherwise, let me know what you discover and we'll try to sort it out!

Ryobi mitre saw jamming when cutting

There's a normal adjustment process of squaring the blade to the table, page 19 of your manual. If the blade is not square to the table then it will bind. Here's the link for the manual, see page 19.

I have a dewalt table saw...wood got stuck on a cut...motor stopped..switched saw off ...removed wood ...saw wont go...changed fuse in plug ..still nothing

If the fuse is now good then you could have tripped the safety and need to reset it, if it has one installed. Or the power cord or the motor are the problem.

If you didn't smell hot or burning electronics smell then it will most likely be the safety aka blade or finger guard. If you did smell hot electronics then it may have burned the power cord or seized the motor. Your user manual will show you where and how to reset the safety. Any local repair shop or tool shop should be able to guide you through this as well as pointing you towards a repair shop if needed.

I've stalled mine a few times and have just reset the fuze and away it goes again. It sounds like you might have done a bit more to yours.

My new 1677 won't run, just hums. Shop Fox tech support seems clueless. Say that running saw on a 5000 watt generator invalidates warranty even though manual never mentions problem with using generator....

I am with you on the start capacitator. I would look at the model and make of the motor and give mgf. a call see if they have one.
You do need the amps there to start these saws. Make sure it matches what your generator is putting out.
Please let me know what you find.

Does not turn on. The wood was at an angle and jammed when it quit working

Hello. I recommend that you check your circuit breaker or fuse which is in the house panel and feeds the outlet that your saw is plugged into.
I believe that you will find that you solution is to reset the breaker or change the fuse.

I have misplaced my manual for my Fox Shop table saw. Is there somewhere on line where I can read one.

Copy and paste this link in your browser search and the PDF file will download

Blade does not turn

Disconnect the electric from the saw. Remove the throat blade cover. Bring the blade all the way up. Look for wood  caught between the blade and anything else. Finding none, remove blade. Try motor w/o blade. If it runs now,w/o the blade then the motor is likely ok . Reinstall blade. Now if it stil stalls, Replace motor.
