Whenever i plug in the chromatic nothing happens. It just stays the same, even the ipod screen stays the same, it doesnt say connected or anything. HELP ME !
Alright so I have no clue what's wrong with my Ipod I've tried everything i can think of without having to send it in. I disconnected my ipod after syncing it one day and then relized i had forgotten to do something so i plugged it back in and it didn't work. The computer won't recognize it and all the ipod does is keep resetting by itslef and it's really beginning to **** me off because **** keeps happening to my ipods for no reason.
Repeatedly resetting itself is one of the classic symptoms of an incomplete restore or update process. You unplugged the device from your computer before it had fully synced, thus it has corrupted.
This is not a fatal problem, though.
You need to force the nano into recovery mode, which will (unfortunately) clear your data from it and restore to factory settings. The detailed procedure for this can be found here:

If you want to give a go at restoring before full-blown recovery (although from your description I doubt it will work), try the instructions on this page:
