Question about Motorola Mobility RAZR V3

1 Answer

Camera/video and storing options

When viewing photos on my phone I pressed both the # and * keys and the pictures are gone or at least went somewhere I don't know how to retrieve. Also-How much more space is on my sim card for storage as opposed to just saving pics and videos to my phone?. All pictures and videos I have I want to keep, but can't seem to store them anywhere else and continue taking new ones. Any suggestions? I haven't read my manual thoroughly, but I thought a real person such as you could help me better. Also-When I delete pics and videos and text messages..are they really gone or can I retrieve them from somewhere? Thanks Scott

This is easy, you Motorola phone tool 4. this program lets you sync you phone to you PC and back up all the information on you phone (pictures, videos, phone numbers, date book appointments), then you can just delete the pictures from your phone and take new ones. I will write to your email and send you the file.

Tips for camera

Using the camera:
Your phone has a flash to help you to take pictures in different lighting environments. The flash is on by default, but you can turn it off or use the automatic setting. To set the desired mode when using the camera, select Options > Flash and Flash off, Flash on or Automatic.
Fast viewing with memory card To view your images and video clips quicker, use your memory card as the main memory for storing them.
In the camera application, select Options > Settings > Image / video storage > Memory card.
Capture and send You can send the picture immediately after you have taken it when you are previewing it. To display a picture immediately after you take it, select Options > Settings > Image preview time and the preview time. During the preview time, select Back to take another picture, or Send to send the picture as a multimedia message.
Print your images Your phone supports Nokia XpressPrint to print images that are in .jpg format. To print your pictures, connect your phone to a compatible printer using a data cable or send the image by Bluetooth to a printer supporting Bluetooth technology. Select the image you want to print from the Gallery, and when viewing the picture, select Options > Print.

Badly formatted Photos

If your photos and videos are stored on the memory card, then remove the memory card from the camera and insert it into an USB memory card reader. Connect this USB memory card reader and memory card into the USB port of your working computer. Your computer will see this as an USB Mass Storage Device or an external storage device; you can then open the folder on the memory card and copy the photos to your computer.
Memory card reader is a handy device and is inexpensive. You can copy photos from other cameras and you can also download photos off your memory card to someone else's computer without the need of installing any programs.

I dropped my env touch and the screen went black and i need help to transfer my photos to my sim card since i cant see what i am doing

These instructions assume the following: use of the camera on an LG enV Touch VX11000 cell phone, capturing and saving photos or video on an external memory microSD card, and transferring the photos using a SD adaptor.
  1. Remove the MicroSD card from the lower right hand side of the phone by gently pressing the card in toward the phone.
  2. Slide the MicroSD card into the SD card adaptor
  3. Place the SD Card adaptor into a SD port or reader whether it be located on a laptop, PC, printer, or standalone external reader
  4. Using Microsoft Explorer, locate the external memory card, Mine reads SD Card
  5. Double click on the drive name and find your photos or video.
  6. Highlight the photo or video files you want to copy or move
  7. Ctrl-C to copy, or Ctrl-X to move
  8. Locate the folder or location on your PC where you want to store the image or video files and type Ctrl-P.
Your images are now on your laptop or PC and are accessible for printing, sharing, embedding, editing, or viewing.
So what did I do with the photos from the orchard lunch with Nana? My daughter and I uploaded the photos to an online photo site and using the photos from our visit, made a twelve month calendar for Nana's birthday in September. Taking photos using your cell phone camera can be lots of fun. Bring able to access, share, and view them is even better!

I want to remove pictures from my LG to my PC. how

This might be an easy solution.
First thing is, if you have a microsd card in your phone, take it out and use a card reader or a sd card slot on your laptop.
If the photos are stored on internal memory, I will tell you the easiest way first.
Go to your contacts and create a new contact named My PC. Add your email address and save.
Click on Messaging on your phone. In the submenu click picture message, insert the photo, and send to My PC.
The second thing is use Picture Place which is awesome to view and trade pics and vids from your phone. To access it here are the instructions.
Open the flip, press Menu twice.
Press Picture & Video.
Select a sub menu and it is the fifth option. click it and follow the rest of the instructions.
I hope this helps!

Uploading Photos

Hi sorry about your phone.

ok let's get down to business

1. did you have a lock on your pictures?
2. did you transfer your pictures to your phone memory? (They are first stored In camera, you then manually move to the phone)

this is a solution for those who have not moved the pictures to the phone memory yet (ie it is still in camera) pictures in phone memory cannot be uploaded..

Step 1. start the camera by pressing the ok button at the center. (alternative is through the menu. left soft key. then pressing 4)
Step 2. if you have a user lock. input it now. if you did not have one then you should be on the pictures menu

i) the lock is the last 4 digits of your phone by default. (if you had used the lock pictures option)
ii) if you had swapped your phone like i did and later return your cellular service to it, do not use your custom lock, rather, use the default lock ie last digits of phone number (Hope this part makes sence)

i feel that these notes are important here because this point might prevent you from accessing your pictures and since you cannot see your screen, it is important that you know what to do at step 2.

step 3. Press the digit 3 ( or - scroll down 2 times and press ok) this will take you to the third option called Online Albums.

step 4 press the down button once( this will select the option called Upload picture) and press ok.

if everything went right, you should now be in a screen called In Camera with your left soft key now called Upload and your right key called Options

Step 5 click the left soft key (Upload) do not worry about selecting the pictures since the next step will take care of that.

step 6. press the down button once. this will take you to Upload All option. press OK

step 7 the phone will ask you where to take those pics. just click OK again to take them to the default album called My Uploads

STEP 9... there is no step 9! the phone is now uploading the pictures to your online album called My uploads just give it a couple of minutes..

1 It would be best to do this in an area you are sure has decent network service.
2 just to be sure, please have your phone on the charger( you are dealing with pictures as well as data transfer) when i was testing out these steps, i lost a bar of my battery so just be safe..

here you shoul
