Hi,
I have about 90 QT terminals, installed at a Supermarket Chain. I tried to upgrade the machines to 512RAM using regular DDS SDRAM.
The problem is once the machines restart, it hangs in the BIOS. after rebooting several times, it will come up.
Is there a specific brand of RAM to be used with this terminal?
Thanks
Henry

First, this is what I would do before buying more RAM.
Turn off two terminals, take the memory from one to add to the other (no new chips please). I'll assume each machine has 128MB right now and I'll assume there are only two memory slots.
If it boots up fine with 256MB, then I'd try to match the RAM exactly.
Probably using PC1600 with/without a SPD module chip.
Use CPU-Z to find out the memory details.
