Question about RCA D52W20 52" Rear Projection HDTV-Ready Television

1 Answer

Picture Blurred I have a 52" RCA (Not sure if it is the same model) but while watching it the other night there was a rather quiet little "Pop" that seemed to come from the upper right corner of the TV (if you are watching it). Then I noticed that the screen had become blurry. I have satelite HD coming in and I can barely read the program guide but the picture is not terribly blurry just enough to notice it. I think I have read somewhere here that there is some kind of "Focus" adjustment in the back that may take care of the problem. Has anyone else had this problem? If so could you please share the solution. Thanks

If you head a pop then your color wheel may have gone out. You need professional support to get this replaced.

Concave screen blurred picture

Good Day, trinityfaith;;
The RCA is very different then most TV's. It could be one of four boards that's causing this. There is no common one. Please call a Factory Service Center and have give you an estimateb4 repair. Sorry, but Good Luck, big IRISH. PS You are looking at a 4 to $550.00 repair.

Does the set make any sounds. DOes the front green led light or flash when you try to turn it on.. if not then it could be as simple as a fuse, if it does flash then it can be many problems
