Powerswitch bay stuck!

The powerswitch etc bay was accidently pushed backwards, and now seems to be stuck behind the regular position? I dont know if this is a design flaw or there is something to slide it back etc :(

Re: Powerswitch bay stuck!

You have to take the front of the case off. Every case is different, there may be clips you have to push in to release the front or there may be screws. once the front is off look for the power switch and glue it back into the switch slot. originally it was probably glued in with hot glue.

How do I get the cd/dvd player into the slots that are blocked

The plastic front panel will have removeable plastic panels the size of the CD/DVD drive, these are held in place by clips, you can push the panel out.
You can also remove plastic front panel, it may be secured by screws or plastic clips. When you remove the plastic front panel the CD/DVD drive slot may be covered with a metal plate, you can remove this plate by bending the metal plate back and forth until it breaks away from the drive bay.

Is it possible to remove the top optical drive bay's front panel and fit the optical drive without it?

The front panel drive panel needs to be removed so you can install an optical drive. There may be a metal panel behind the plastic front panel, if so this will need to be removed so the optical drive can be inserted into the drive bay.

TS-8 series case I'm having trouble fitting optical drives ,its tool free fitting but I just can not seem to make room any tips would be helpfull

If it is "tool-less", is there any "slider" that locks/unlocks the drive into its correct position?

Try a different drive-bay.

Does the drive slide PART-WAY into the drive-bay?
If so, and there are other drives mounted in the adjacent drive-bay,
loosen the screws that are holding those drives, and then push
a little harder on your drive.

Recessed handle is stuck in closed position

I would likely try WD-40 and gentle maneuvering.

How long has it been since it work and you've tried it again?
