The plastic handle on the glass lid of my rival crockpot has broke. The plastic handle attaches to the glass top via a simple screw.
I'd like to purchase just a new plastic handle, not a new glass lid with plastic handle already attached.
The replacement glass lid costs over half the price of the entire crockpot.

My lid also broke, and "The Crock Pot Company" (owned by Rival) keeps sending me silly e-mails, asking "what size crock do you need?", when I clearly have told them that I NEED A LID!!
Their only solution is to buy a new lid to a different model. I am just going to find another company and get a different brand of crock pot.
Rival, Hamilton Beach, and the CrockPot company are all connected somehow.
I looked this model up on the Rival website, and it had been recalled, so I have followed the directions to send in the plug for a new unit. According to others with similar issues, once they sent in the plug, they were sent an entire new crock pot, including the crock and lid. I am hoping that they do send me an entire new unit, however, if not, at least I will have a different model number and could order a lid for that model. I will never buy another Rival product, based on their poor customer service. Thanks for your help!!
easy fix go down to your hardware store and buy a big wooden knob (like you would put on a cabnet to open it) it will even come with its own screw for .99 ! . you will have to snap off with a plyers and a screwdriver whats left of the old knob from the lid . but this fix works great and looks good too !

Practically all the handles on Rival crockpots that are sold are defective. Customers are being ripped off as the Rival company will not replace defective handles, instead they charge for the whole lid replacement. What can a customer do get this problem resolved. Can the Better Business Bureau help? We have had 3 handles replaced already.

This isn't a request for assistance. Rather it's a fix-it solution that is working for me with my Rival Crockpot because one of the rubber feet broke off. Several people discussed the need to find a replacement for the rubber feet but were not able to find any parts. As I was unable to find a replacement part myself, I came up with the following solution. At a local electronics store, I purchased a package of ''Dantona Button Bumpers'', Part No. BTN-407P (Fits hole size 1/4'' *Panel thickness 1/16'') (The 407P means ''Packaged'' & a pack of 8 was $2.00) I replaced all 3 feet & have used the crockpot once. The rubber button bumpers did not melt after more than 8 hours of cooking time. I found this site that you can access as a pdf file - it's a catalog page from Dantona. You'll have to manually enter the website to access the page. [PDF] D-Catalog Section 8 File Format: PDF/Adobe Acrobat - View as HTML ALKALINE. 146. BUMPERS & GROMMETS. Bumpers-Button. Bumpers-Stern.
