Bluetooth is a software that every now and again fails. you just need to turn phone off and then back on. It isn't the headset and any phone replacement would do the same thing.

I put my Droid Razr on charger but battery symbol comes on with ? mark. Won't charge or turn on.

1. Turn off your phone when it's not in use. If you're not using your Verizon Wireless Razr, then shut it off. Your battery will last much longer if you regularly do this.
2. Charge your phone less. If you charge your Razr nightly, then your cell phone battery won't last long. Try to charge your phone only a few times a week to extend the battery life.
3. Keep your Bluetooth turned off when you're not using it. Applications, like Bluetooth, are notorious for sucking the power from a cell phone battery.
4. Protect your Razr from extreme temperatures. Your cell phone battery lasts longer if kept at room temperature.
5. Discharge the Razr fully. Before you charge your phone, let it completely die. You can extend the life of the battery by regularly discharging and then fully charging it.
6. Leave the battery in the phone. Keep the Razr battery dry and free of dirt to prolong its life.

Bluetooth not powering up

Try this ::

1. Create a link between your Motorola RAZR Phone and any Bluetooth Accessory 1.0 and up, you need to turn the Bluetooth connection "on". This is how: Go into your phone "settings". > Then select "Connection" > "Bluetooth Link" > "Set Up" > "Power" > "On". The connection will stay on until you turn it off. We recommend to turn it off when not in use to preserve battery life. 2. To connect your RAZR to another Bluetooth hands free kit or headset, go into "Settings" > "Connection" > "Bluetooth Link" > "Handsfree" > (Look for Device). You phone will scan for available devices located within the range of the RAZR, approx 30 feet away. If your cell phone is already connected to a Blue Tooth headset, you must disconnect from it to find other devices. Once you have identified your bluetooth device, highlight its name and click on the "select" button.
3. The Bluetooth device will ask permission to connect. Select "yes" and press the "select" button; after that you will be prompted to insert a PIN code to initiate a secure connection. The PIN code is sually provided by the Bluetooth device manufacturer, not the RAZR. Once the connection is made, you should see the bluetooth logo displayed on the internal screen, while the external screen Bluetooth indicator will flash.

PLEASE DONT FORGET TO RATE THIS RESOLUTION.

Won't charge

You have taken the appropriate steps. Now you have determined that the problem is not battery, it is the phone.
Most likely causes are:
  • Bad connection between battery and phone due to damage
  • water damage to the phone or corrosion
  • leads from the battery to the phone are broken.
Either way the phone will require warranty work or replacement.

Here is what you need to have configured on your phone for Bluetooth connections:

The PIN code is usually provided by the Bluetooth device manufacturer (in the manual), not the RAZR (unless you are connecting to another phone). Once the connection is made, you should see the bluetooth logo displayed on the internal screen, while the external screen Bluetooth indicator will flash.

Reception with bluetooth is bad

Unfortunately there isn't a "user servicable solution" that I know of. Most cell phones are designed that way. You can replace batteries, front/backs, bezels, keyboards, and screens but you can't fix the "guts". Only a qualified licensed repairman can fix this because it's under FCC regs.

Don't buy a RAZR. i work for verizon and the RAZR is the worst phone for battery life. There is, however an extended battery that may provide a temporary fix until you buy your next phone....and don't buy a RAZR

The blue light indicates that BlueTooth is powered on. On my phone it flashes. You can turn it off by going to Settings - Connection - Bluetooth Link - Set up - Power. Select and change to Off.
