How to replace staples

If you have the internal finisher that resides in the center of the machine: open the slotted front cover, it folds down towards the ground, then push the green lever sideways to slide the finisher out to the left. Look inside the open area for a green item, push down to eject the cartridge. Pinch the clear cartridge on the arrow to eject the clear part, replace with a full cartridge and reassemble in reverse order. How to replace staples on Sharp printer internal finisher

F2-40 repeatedly on a new Sharp MX4110 machine

during setup the machine do,nt install toner during calibration 25-2 steps: 1. Execute Simulation 25-01 and verify that the TCD_K value is less than 26. 2. Execute Simulation 7-1 and highlight [DV Check Disable]. 3. Open the Doc Feeder. 4. Place a piece of white paper in the lead edge area of the platen glass covering about 1-2 inches of the lead edge area of the copy. This will prevent jamming in the Fuser Unit. 5. Run 50 sky shots. 6. Check Simulation 25-01 and note the TCD_K value when it stabilizes. 7. Repeat steps 2 through 6 until the stabilized TCD_K value of Simulation 25-01 is 40 or higher. 8. Execute Simulation 7-1 and verify that [DV Check Disable] is not highlighted. 9. Hit CA and make sure machine comes to a ready state. 10. Turn Machine off/on. Make sure it comes to a ready state. 11. Make a copy and check the copy quality. 12. Run Copy Quality adjustment 12a according to the service manual if necessary. Note: TCD_K value of 26 or less will cause the MFP to display F2-40 error code. Remember that the TCD_K Value is inversely proportional to the Toner Concentration. If the TCD_K Value is stabilized at 40 or higher, then the F2-40 error code will not appear. Once you recover from the F2-40 Error Code, the MFP's Process Control will take over and regulate the Toner Concentration.

Red Light

This scanner has a paper detection sensor at the eject rollers where the paper comes out. Its a reflective device that can be fooled by paper dust buildup. Look in the gap where the paper is fed out, in the center you will find a little reflective patch facing up. Use a blower bulb or GENTLE puff of canned air, followed by a damp q-tip. There are similar sensors in the vertical transport that can give the same error. Don't overdo the canned air. It doesn't remove dust so much as just re-arrange it, usually to somewhere harder to reach. I don't keep it in my toolbox, and I do this for a living. Blower bulbs are much easier to control.

Trouble ejecting slide from SF200 nikon coolscan 4000 ed

open the case of the scanner, and check to make sure that the ejection mechanism is not malfunctioning, or jammed someway.  If this is not the problem, try using thinner slides as thicker ones could also cause this.  If all else fails try un plugging the scanner for a few minutes, and try again.

Remove paper from scanner

I have this same problem every time I unplug my Panasonic KV-2026C. I've lost the original disk with the utilities, and the Panasonic web site says, they only provide the disk with the original equipment. You know, I'll never buy another Panasonic product. But I'm usually able to get the ready light to come back on by doing the following. I use a clean cloth that is soaked in Rubbing Alcohol (not nail polish remover, but pure rubbing alcohol). I basically open up the back, and clean each roller. There are two green tabs at the top of the back of the scanner. These need to be opened up (be careful, because the parts sort of fall out if you're not careful, and they are difficult to re-assemble). Again, wipe everything down with the rubbing alcohol. Close up the upper tabs. Make sure you wipe down the glass slits on both the door (front-of-the-page scanning port) and on the unit itsel (back-of-the-page scanning port). Before you close up the back door, let it sit for about 5 minutes, allowing the rubbing alcohol to evaporate. I also connect the scanner to the laptop and get the "blip" sound from Windows to recognize the scanner. I don't know if that's important or not. Then I say a healthy prayer, plug it back in and shut the back door. If there is a god on duty that day, the ready light comes on, and stays on as long as I have the power connected. I just went through the process and it worked!!!! The minute the power is off, the error light stays on. Good luck, my friends! Joe Diehl, Seattle WA
