Question about Kenwood DNX7100 Car Video Player
Hi, I just purchased and installed a dnx7100. However, I can only get the screen to flip down 1/2 way. Also, the display doesn't power up at all, it would show some very dim white lines only. Is my unit defective? any help would be great. Thanks
I had this issue where it just shut off and wouldnt go on , could eject and all that eventually went back on.. a yr later my battery died and when i installed a new one this happened again i removed the neg batt cable and put in on again and the radio came on... something weird goin on but the battery cable trick may get it back on, will do a hard reset

To get to the hidden SD Card slot press the eject button and hold it gently until you feel the screen starting to move and then let it go. The screen will go all the way down and expose the SD Card slot.

I had the same initial problem, i just changes out the harness and it worked. the problem was that the "turn-on" wire got messed up within the harness, i've seen that happen b4

If you want it to go down all the way to get access to the sd slot, all you have to do is hold the eject botton for a second or more, just like it says in the manual.

It only goes down half way. You have to gently push it down the rest of the way to expose the SD card slot.
