Saeco stopped working during process

Dear Jon,
Hi this shrikant from mumbai.This problem is happen due to dust stuck in tea/hot water valve ( for steam which you rotate).

If you have screw driver set then open the machine by using + screw drive. step below,
1.I here attach picture of valve.
2.you have to open it and clean it ( sea in pic 44,46,47,54).
3.after water leaking stop you have replace one o-ring 54 no. in picture.
4.After you machine work fine.

air compressor to the white piece above water reservoir and blow out the upper piece that pierces the coffee...chances are extra water got into the tubing where air needs to go

Try to set the machine to grind finer. Common problem with this machine when the grinder grinds too coarse, and the coffee will not fit in the brew unit during the cycle. Grinding finer will allow the brew unit to compress and the machine should complete the cycle.

Sounds like there is a faulty or tripped thermostat on the boiler.

Good Afternoon,

All you need to do is have the machine turned on and up to temperature. Make sure that you have a full tank of water as well. Make sure the machine is set for hot water, then turn the knob on the side of the machine to start water flow. Once the water is flowing out, remove the water tank and, leaving the knob turned open so that the water that's in the system drains out. Once water stops coming out, close the knob and shut the machine off.
The water is now drained from the system.

HI You have a ruptured hose going to the boiler. Needs to be replaced. Yes you can fix it your self if your handy. Remember to remove all the beans before trying.

You really do not want to do that but you can always open the door and the machine will reset itself except in descale mode, it just goes back to the start.

sounds like thermostats...are shot..will need a model number to help you out.

The curcuit breaker on the boiler probably tripped. There are 2 of them on the boiler. You can remove the back cover to access these parts. If you are not comfortable with taking the machine apart, take it to a service center.
