HTC Touch Pro has stopped syncing with computer

As of the end of February my phone will not sync. I plug it in and the computer makes the noise that it is connected but the phone doesn't seem to acknowledge the computer. I have uninstalled the software and reinstalled it and it still didn't work.

Have u check to seen if its not being use as a hard drive. Try this go to the start menu go to settings down at the bottom you should have 3 tabs 1.personal 2.system 3.connections. Click on connections then click on the icon that says usb to pc make sure that its in active sync. Your problem should be solved.

Your solution
==============================================

Setting up HTC Sync to recognize your phone

After installing, set up HTC Sync to recognize your phone.

1. From the Home screen, press MENU, and then tap Settings > Accounts & sync.

2. On the Connect to PC screen on your phone, tap HTC Sync and then tap Done. Your phone attempts to find HTC Sync on your computer. Wait for a few seconds for the process to finish.

3. If your phone displays a message indicating that it's unable to find HTC Sync, try disconnecting and reconnecting the USB cable, and then repeat step 2.

4. When the Phone Connection Wizard is displayed on your computer, click Next.
Enter the name you want for your phone, and then click Finish.

Check the HTC Sync icon at the bottom-right side of your computer screen. If it appears green in color, that means your phone has successfully connected with your computer and HTC Sync recognizes your phone

=========================================================

If still no go try this .

Unplug the phone from the PC, restart both the phone and the PC. When the PC is done booting, plug your phone in and see if the autorun box pops up.

===================================================
still if nogo try this .

you have to select disk drive (when plugged in via notification area) to be able to view the drive in windows and htc sync to use htc sync.

I have a mac computer and I am trying to transfer my pic from my phone to the computer.

Hi there!
The HTC Touch Pro does not easily natively sync with a Mac computer. There are a couple of pieces of software you could try to get pictures from your phone to your computer.
One is the Missing Sync for HTC Touch from Mark/Space - http://www.markspace.com/products/htctouch/htc-touch-sync-mac.html This program has been well tested. I've used a different version (for a palm phone) and it works well. It costs $40.
Another program that I do not have experience with is SyncMate for Mac from Eltima Software - http://www.sync-mac.com/ Unfortunately, only the $40 version syncs photos.
If you have a microSD card in your phone, you can put photos on the card, then use a USB card reader to put the files on your computer.
There is also a possibility of using bluetooth or email to transfer the photos. You can email yourself the photos and pick them up on your computer, or possibly transfer the files with bluetooth. I have never used the HTC Touch Pro before, but the process to get bluetooth started should be something like this... - Make sure your smartphone is set to "Discoverable" - Go to System Preferences > Bluetooth on your computer. - Click the "+" button at the bottom of the device list. - Select your phone from the list when it shows up and complete the Bluetooth Setup Assistant. - On your phone navigate to the photo and try to find an option to send the photo via bluetooth. You will have to accept the transfer on your computer and the file will most likely go to my documents.
I hope this helps!

I need htc touch viva driver

Drivers are included with the microsoft software you use to sync eg.
Windows Mobile Device Centre. WMDC.
Or
Microsoft active sync.

You can get 32 bit version of WMDC ...HERE... 64 bit ...HERE...
and Microsoft Active Sync 4.5 ...HERE...

Although Microsoft seem to be having issues with the connection of HTC's to their software and their help department doesn't appear to be much help.

If you already have the software installed. Try uninstalling and downloading fresh copies and re-install.
Also make sure you clear your partnerships in your phone as HTC only allow 2 sync partnerships.

How I can download movie for my htc touch

You can download movie the normal way on your computer and than can synchronis your phone with your computer. HTC Sync allows synchronization between a Phone and PC. The USB debugging check box in Home > Menu > Settings > Applications > Development needs to be selected for the phone to be able to synchronize with the PC using HTC Sync. You can find the latest version of HTC Sync and drivers from Support section of HTC website.

Is there anyway I can backup my HTC touch pro

Not really. You need the password to connect via active sync.

Everything on your SD car is saved if that makes you feel any better.

I pluged in my HTC Touch Pro and i can find it on my computer

This is because your Touch Pro is not a Mass Storage device. You have to actually take out the memory card and put the memory card into the Memory Card Adapter and place the adapter into your computer in the memory card slot. You then have to label folders for MUSIC, VIDEO, IMAGES, and DOCUMENTS and then place the files in the corresponding folders. It will make that noise because a USB device is being connected. This device can be used as a modem which is why your computer recognizes it.
