After restarting for an automatic update my desktop was in a "default" arrangement and the resolution was changed. I attempted to change it back but must have set it to the wrong res, cus the screen went...

Yes video drivers need to be updated then go back where you went to change the resolution and click keep this resolution I think you mistakenly told not to accept it this happens.

Brewer pushing water back into reservoir, not brewing... any suggestions? De-scaled last week (used all week with no problem). Cleaned needle today, no change.

I had the same problem, contacted Keurig and they suggested the descale procedure, which did not work. I was able to resolve the problem however.
First I went through a gallon of white vinegar, without results. Then I did the following:
Went to Walmart and bought "Brew Rite". Tried 8 cup mixture (8 cups of water, two tablespoons of mix), did not work. Being persistant, put in another 8 cups, let sit 2 hours and then put in clear water. By the time I got half way through with the clear water, the device started working properly, no problems since.

Have a new Acer LCD monitor -- will not power on.

I checked all cords connecting the monitor to the computer, made sure nothing was loose.  Then I re-booted the computer, and the monitor is on.

No picture, no status light

This isn't a permanent solution, but it has worked for me. The first time I found out about this solution was when the status light went out on my Tatung. I just left it unplugged and didn't plugged it back in for about a month and a half just to see what it would do. When the status light came back on, I knew if it ever did it again, I could try the same thing. Well, a week ago last Sunday, the status light went out again, so I just kept track of when it went out and when I plugged the power cord back in to see if the status light would come back on. Today when I plugged the power cord in, the status light came back on. That was 9 days. I don't know if it could be less than that because the last time I plugged it back in to see if the status light would come on was around last Friday. So it might have worked sooner. Anyway, this seems to work for me. I don't know what is causing it to lose power in the first place, but at least I know what to do.
