No sound, looks like it's broken, the microfone is oke

99 % of sound issues are with drivers. Reinstall the drivers for sound after deinstalling them.
Use the drivers from the acer website only

Use external speaker or a headset. If there is no sound either youknow its not the speakers of the pc or laptop that are broken

good luck

PC INTEL P4 /Motherboard foxconn 661fx7mi-s DOES NOT POWER ON

Seems like the motherboard is broken...
Yous hould first try the PC with another motherboard, if you have one and are able to switch all the components.
If then the PC boots, the motherboard is broken. You could try taking it to a computershop, maybe they can spot a problem, but I guess if something, like a fuse or a single wire, burnt through the only way to fix it is to replace all of them, which would be more exoensive than a new motherboard.

If you need any help finding a new motherboard just ask me.

Reset button want stop bebbing

The memory you added is either bad or not compatible with your pc. Remove the ram you added and see if that takes care of the problem. Thanks and please take a moment to rate as fixya.

I have a AX4SgMax motherboard and I am unable to boot it up. I noticed that the board has a resettable fuse, could this be the problem and how do you go about resetting it?

No fans could indeed indicate a problem with your power supply...
Or your motherboard is broken.

Have you recently added extra hardware to your pc, like a new graphics card, or one of the harddisks you mentioned.
I suggest you try removing them from your system, if possible, and then try to boot again. If the pc then works, it's probably your power supply.
If not, your mainboard is probably broken. I suggest you try replacing it with one from another pc first, before you go buy a new one. If replacing it doesnt work, buying a new one will be of no use.

But then you've got the problem of removing a mainboard, which isnt exactly easy. So I guess it's up to you to find someone who can do that.

I hope this helps,

You would be best off to just leave it alone if the board is still functioning as it is now.
A trip to your local PC shop will find you a plug in pci sound card for a few dollars and it will save you the heartache of replacing the motherboard should you attempt further repairs.

Hope that helps =)
