Question about Zonet PCMCIA 56K V.92 Modem (ZFM5600-CF) (MDMZN5600CF)
The usual maximum speed for a v92 dial up modem is around 48-52kbps, although sometimes the way windows calculates the speed can be different, showing higher speeds than is actually possible, hence the 115k that shows when connected. The only way you can get faster download speeds is to download the 'Onspeed' software which compresses pictures etc to enable twice the download speed.
