Video problem Hi, I've just built a machine with this motherboard Pentium 4 Prescott series 512mb of Ram However, when I turn it on, I get nothing on the monitor. I have rebuilt it to check all connections and checked parts in another machine, but still no joy.

Do you get as far as the option to get into the bios and change any settings?, if not but the processor fan is operating, then the bios chip is damaged, or resetting the bios by way of the shorting terminals may bring up the menu. The only other thing is to check you have the Front Side Bus speed set correctly (refer to the mobo manual).
