even though i delete information on my iriver h320, no more free disc space is shown. what can i do?

hello. i bought Iriver H320 in 2006 and a year after that it's started reloading by itself, the battery were good only for 30 min. and it suddenly stoped. i was in Ukraine at that time, and they didn't had any iriver office over there. i just want to fix it without loosing any information from the hard drive. is any chance you can fix it?

and just to be on safe side those rare, hard to find songs/photos you have ..back it up to pc or flash drive....
your iriver / laptop/ pc or ipod never through this things away...if you have to always remember to take the hard drive out even if its blank...take it out
