Pioneer 7800MP can't turn on

My pioneer 7800 has worked fine for a while, but two days ago the unit simply stopped to work.

The curious thing is that when I turn off the car, the radio-face auto-ejects (like always). I has also noted that when the face is ready to detach, I can turn it on if I am fast enough to put the key on ignition, but when the face comes back to normal place, it shut downs.

Any help will be very very appreciated.

It looks like the flexible cable worn out. Try to replace the cable.

I have a pioneer avic-ni in dash dvd/navigation system. Two days ago the display screen stopped working totally black & it will not eject the current cd

Common failure on these units is the flex cable. Contact Pioneer and send it to them for service. Last I heard they were not suppling this part.
