Wont recognize I purchased the Vision M yesterday it worked at first, I loaded songs onto it. It worked fine for 10 minutes, then froze. I reset it and it rebuilt for abbout 60% then turned off. Now it wont turn on and my computer wont recognize that it is plugged in the USB port.

Re: wont recognize

WOW.! Something is very wrong. Sounds like the Zen was on its death-bed before you even bought it. But there's a chance that its ok except for the motherboard. The motherboard might need to be replaced.

Been using this for a few months. Froze up on same song while on vacation last month, and continued to play same song on repeat until battery went down. Now is frozen with "Do Not Disconnect" as it was being charged on my laptop. Attempted to unplug and plug back in and Windows gives DO NOT DISCONNECT!!!!!

My songs show up in music folder on the drive, but not on the actual player.

Backup the songs on the player, delete them from it and load them back on. This should build the song lists back up.

My 30gb creative zen froze and after being reset all of my songs are gone excpet a handful.

If your Zen V is dead, wont respond to anything, try this, plug it in to the computer, hold the power switch in the on position, THEN trigger the reset button, worked like a charm for mine, I had thought it a lost cause."
