Get a TORX 6 screwdriver

WIggle the tiny flex cable connector
near the hinge.. still no luck ????

Buy another V220 on ebay

gently take the phone apart and sub in the whole
screen shell and front of keypad.

DO NOT TRY TO remove the screen from the body section..
you will destroy to the teeny tiny flex cable.

Google for V220 take apart/ disassembly

The battery that you say is OK may actually be dead. Also, if the phone was unused for some time a discharged battery may have affected the phone

Blank screen motorola v220

You should store your numbers on your sim its safer. But the answer to the problem is you cant unless you replace the screen. Alternatively you could try adding an external phone screen via the phone usb port.
