Question about Panasonic Lumix DMC-LZ2 Digital Camera

1 Answer

Connecting to hp laptop

I have tried everything with connecting my camera.I was able to connect it to my desktop ( which is in storage) when camera was out of the box. It was a dell pc. I have also tried to connect it to 2 other computers to no avail. Yes I have the software disc and the correct usb connection...etc. The only thing I don't have is the AC adapter...also in storage, but I thought battery power would be fine? Please save me from several days of hell.

Well it should connect via battery alone - not perfect but do able You do not need software disk to connect to a computer. can be distinctly unhelpful. Remove the software Simply plug in the camera and ensure it is in upload mode and on Windows Scanner/Camera Wizard does the rest.

Try to connect it in bluetooth connection. (Wireless connection.). Or try to connect your phone in USB connection. (Wired connection) For wireless connection:
-open your first your bluetooth connection. (phone and laptop) -send the the files/photos via bluetooth connection. -accept the files from your laptop.
For wired connection: -connect your usb to your phone -set your phone connection to mass storage -connect to your laptop, if your laptop detect your phone, search your files, then copy it.. =)

Lose Internet connection on wireless network

Go to the router configuration and change the options so you could use both of them, there is an option says only one type of connection or both of them, change it to both, and everything will be fine.

When I down load the hp photosmart m305v digital camera

Uninstall the camera software, reboot the computer, wait a couple of minutes after your desktop appears, then connect the USB cable with the camera connected and powered on. You should hear a wave sound indicating that the device is connected at which point you should be able to find the device in "My Computer" and treat it as any memory storage device.
I hope this helps.

Canon Not recongized by Computer

Try to change the USB connection type in the camera menu. There are several types like Mass storage, Pict. bridge, and the one you need is most likely PTP. Anyway, try all of those and maybe it will work. That is the most common problem when connecting cameras to Vista based systems.

Very well could have toasted you network card. If everything else works, try installing a different one (and drivers) that is known to work. MM85

Same problem - no driver

I found this on another site. You have to set the camera itself to Mass Storage mode in order to work with Windows 2000. The steps are below. As soon as I did and plugged the camera back into the USB cable, Picture Project recognized the camera as connected, installed the mass storage driver for it and requested a restart of the PC. Able to access the memory card and download pictures.

On the camera itself, unplug the USB, turn it on and...

Press MENU....
Press ▲▼to choose SETUP...press OK...
Press ▲▼to choose INTERFACE...press OK...
Press ▲▼ to choose USB...press OK...
Press ▲▼to choose MASS STORAGE...press Ok..
Press MENU to exit...
Then plug it back into the USB cable.

Good Luck
