Question about Panasonic PT-47WX49 47" Rear Projection Television
The colors have seemed to have separated (ie. blue, red, green. images are "ghosty". I bought it in 2002 and am wondering if the bulbs just need to be replaced, and if so, how easy(pricey) is this to do.
1) Replace both convergence IC's...located on large heatsinks
STK392-110 use Pana,Toshiba,Philips or upgrade to my
choice.....Hitachi ( Mfr'd by SANYO ) Part # CZ 01341....
2) Check 2.2 ohm 2W B+ feed resistors for over-heating....
Note: Requires chassis pull..technical & soldering ability a must.

You have convergence trouble and possible require ic's to repair the problem.
