This may be related to the F7 error problem. I have posted the solution to that problem on this website. Do a search on "Dreaded F7 Problem" and you should be able to open the link. If that doesn't work for you, email at: Hutchipop@yahoo.com and I will send you the solution. Regards, Charlie Popeck, P.E. Consulting Engineer

E6 F2 Fault Code on left side Display panel of Whirlpool Accubake Upper oven. There is No Cancel Button on the Display Key pad. Double oven unit has just been cutting off in middle of Bake Cycle.

this is usually a problem with the keypad, most techs would say to replace the keypad, if that doesnt solve it, the main board will need to be replaced. make sure your connectors are tight if you decide to kill power and replace the keypad

CAN NOT CONTROL BOTTOM OVEN

I assume yiu had the electronic oven control repaired. Sometimes the touch pad also goes bad. I have had to replace them at the same time. If the oven indicator lights showing the oven being on shows up on the display it could be that the thermal fuse behind the oven has gone out. this in in the common line and will shut down both ovens at the same time but you will get the control panel to respond to the touch pad.

I have Whirlpool double oven, model number gbd307pdb7, that after the self clean on the top oven quit working. The original message on the key pas was locked, then it said hot and lastly it had the error...

this most likely happened from when you self cleaned the oven, the oven gets up to 1000 degrees and can damage the electronics on the oven.i will never use this feature for this reason,i use easy off,but the f2 e1 error says it's a bad key panel or the touch pad that you push to control the oven.do you see upper and lower off?if you want to cancel the upper oven you press upper off,you can try to unplug the oven for like 10 minutes and see if it resets it or kill the power, pull the oven out enough to remove the top panel, unplug the ribbon and plug it back in and see if it resets, that code means the board can't read the touch panel,if you press the upper off and it clears and then returns the touch pad is bad part WP8300440 go here go to control panel

I want to use top and bottom ovens but at different temps - how do I do this

To Set a Cook T ime:
1. On double oven models only, press UPPER OVEN or LOWER
OVEN for the one you want to set.
2. Press BAKE or CONVECT UPPER (on some models).
Press the number pads to enter a temperature other than the
one displayed.
3. Press COOK TIME.
4. Press the HR and MIN "up" or "down" arrow pads to enter
the length of time to cook.
5. Press START/ENTER.
The start time and stop time countdown will appear on the
oven display.
On double oven models only, when both upper and lower
ovens are being used at the same time, touch UPPER OVEN
or LOWER OVEN to display the respective cook time.
When the stop time is reached, the oven will shut off
automatically and "End" will appear on the oven display.
If enabled, end-of-cycle tones will sound, then reminder
tones will sound every minute.
Repeat the process by choosing the other option of UPPER or LOWER OVEN

FO beeping on both upper and lower ovens

Hi

Error code F0 means that an error with the keypad has occurred. Usually it happens due to loose ribbon cable on the keypad or the electronic control assembly itself going bad. To resolve this issue first, disconnect the power to unit and then gain access to the back of the clock assembly (Electronic Range Control/ERC). Now unplug the touch pad ribbon connector from the ERC, it would be a flat wire approx. 1 1/2" to 2" wide and make sure that the cable is not broken and nothing is shorted on the keypad. After this is done insert the cable back and then plug the unit back to check. If the error is still there then the electronic control board should be replaced. Hope this helps...please post back for further assistance.

I have a GE double wall oven. I have a F7 errot on display. I unplugged the ribbon cable and shortly recieved a F0 error code on both the upper and lower side of the display. I replaced the ERC. it...

Hello,

The F7 error coode means either the ERC or touch pad is bad. Having already replaced the ERC,replace the touch pad(the part w/the ribbon cable)

Error Message F2 E6

Hi,

Perform the following actions to fix your error:

Check the connection between the touch pad (keypad) and control board (clock) to make sure it is secure. Select the 'Upper Cancel key ' function and wait for 60 seconds. If error code reappears then replace the touch pad, or touch pad and control board (clock) if all one assembly.

Thank you !!

F7 code keeps flashing on upper oven, nothing on keypad works

A function pad is probably stuck.
Push all buttons several times each. Often this will clear a stuck pad.
If that does not work replace the clock.

Electric Oven doen't heat

cdkd, there should be a TC0, on the back of the oven. Thermal cut out. You want to check to see if it is open. You will have to pull the oven out enough that you can remove the back panel cover and check it. The lower and upper oven should have one. It's a very cheap part to replace. If this TCO fails, no heat. Check this first before buying a new board. Catriver..post back.
