Press and hold the Sel (Select button) for more than 2 seconds. Release the button when you see Clock H, Clock M, SCM Link or Level. Use the Up/Down arrows (on the right side of the panel) to navigate to the Clock H option. Use the +/- buttons (on the left side of the panel) to set the current hour. Using the Up/Down buttons to navigate to Clock M. Then use the +/- buttons again to the current minutes. Then press Sel again to exit the clock set mode.

1 Hold on the SEL button
2 These options are changed using a combination of the UP, DOWN, PREVIOUS & NEXT buttons along with the Volume Knob. (This is shown with a picture, I'm just trying to translate and interpret what I think they're trying to communicate)
1 Canceling the display demonstrations
Select “DEMO,” then “DEMO OFF.”
2 Setting the clock
Select “CLOCK H” (hour), then adjust the hour.
Select “CLOCK M” (minute), then adjust the
minute.
3 Finish the procedure - by pressing the SEL button.

Press and hold the SEL button in the middle of your volume dial. Select Clock-H and Clock-M with the seek buttons in the bottom right corner. Use dial to set hour and minute. Hit SEL button to finish procedure.

Sounds like an internal circuit board problem. Usually costs more to fix than a new deck
