The middle burner will not light. The valve will not turn when pushed down. Should it need replacing, how do I replace the burner valve?
I have the same problem.

Has anybody figured out what to do in this case - jenn-air cooktop, single burner valve that pushes down but no longer turns. (therefore gas will not flow to that burner).

thanks

I have the same problem with a Jenn-Air JGC8430ADS gas cooktop. It has four burners and after about 4 years one of the knobs will not turn. It pushes down, but won't turn.
