yes its a filthy messy job, you will need a torx screwdriver though a 10 or a 15 i think, and a ratchet set to take off the motor bolts would help a lot. wear gloves as you will have to wrestle the motor out and the inside casing on the machine has sharp edges that could cause a nasty gash. just remember to disconnect the electricity and water before starting since you are looking for the easy way to do things.

I have this machine from 2007, never had a problem but now when the machine starts a cycle, just after filling water starts to spin twice, some lights flashing, the wash cycle stop. The only cycle that the machine ending is drain only. We have cleaned the filter, have checked all over but the situation does not change.

Hi, my washer stopped before it drained and rinsed so there was water still in the drum. I moved the dial to the end of the programme and then reset it to spin. after a while it did spin. now when I set it to start the wash cycle it stops following the wash, then following the 1st rinse then the second and I have to reset it every time. I have had an engineer out who said it is the heater but I am not convinced as he didn't even touch the washer and charged me a lot of money for the call out.He says the repair will cost a further £100, Any help would be great.

I put on a cycle earlier and it got stuck on the stage where it takes the washing powder from the draw, then I've just put on a dryer setting, and after over 2hrs it still said it had 90mins remaming (usually only 120mins) and the clothes were still soaking, any ideas? thanks
