Right click and go to properties. Then go to the compatibility tab and run in an earlier version of windows.

My 1999 ford f150 has amiss fire and the p1633 code came up but the service engine light is not on

P1633 means the battery was disconnected or became discharged enough to be unable to keep the battery-backed memory in the control module alive.

If the alternator is failing intermittently, it may not always keep the battery charged enough to properly run the engine, which could cause misfires. Ensure the battery and its terminal connections are in good shape.

I am trying to connect the two facts you listed. Your facts may not be enough to find the actual cause of the misfire, however. Certainly a disconnected or otherwise discharged battery will cause the P1633 code.

How to solve low memory problems?

Normally this warning message shows when you run many programs same time than the RAM installed on your computer is designed to support. Your can solve this problem by increasing the system paging file size also called as virtual memory. Using this virtual memory windows moving information to and from the paging file for fast processing. This will free up enough RAM for other programs to run properly.

To increase the system page file follow the give path:

Control Panel > System > Advanced > Click on Settings (Under Performance) > Advanced > Change

Here under Drive (Volume label), you have option to select any of your hard disk drive, but the best choice is, select any drive other than C drive for virtual memory.

Set the double Initial & Maximum Size of your Virtual Memory. Here set initial size 700 MB and maximum size up to 1000MB; you can change this size according to the free space available on your hard drive.

There isn't a paper jam there is ink in the cartridges, i have selected the printer. when it prints the paper comes out blank

Make sure that the computer has available hard drive space

Printing requires the computer to have a certain amount of available hard drive space to process print jobs and to send them to the printer. Step one: Check the virtual memory settings Virtual memory is the temporary disk space on the hard drive that processes print jobs. It usually requires at least 200 MB of disk space but might require more or less depending on the printer. Insufficient virtual memory might cause the issue. Follow these steps to check and modify the amount of the virtual memory available.
Click Start , right-click My Computer , and then click Properties . Click the Advanced tab. In the Performance section, click Settings . Click the Advanced tab. In the Virtual memory section, click Change . For correct configuration, the Initial size and Maximum size settings must be less than the Space available on the hard drive. If the Space available on the hard drive is less than 200 MB , skip to the next step. Follow the instructions to clear space on the hard drive, and then start these steps over. The Initial size setting is the amount of space reserved for virtual memory on the hard drive. The Initial size setting should be about 200 MB, and greater than or equal to the recommended paging file size shown in the lower section of the dialog box. The Maximum size setting can be any number greater than the Initial size setting, but it should be at least twice the Initial size setting. Change the settings as necessary to conform to the information in this step. Click Set , and then click OK . Try printing again. If these steps resolved the issue , there is no need to continue troubleshooting. If the issue persists , see the next step
Step two: Run Disk Cleanup to remove temporary files Follow these steps to run Disk Cleanup. Click Start , click Programs , click Accessories , click System Tools , and then click Disk Cleanup . Disk Cleanup prompts you to select a drive to clean. Select the hard drive, and then click OK . Disk Cleanup analyzes the hard drive and presents a report. Select the following items from the report: Temporary Internet Files Downloaded Program Files Recycle Bin Temporary Files Click OK . If these steps resolved the issue , there is no need to continue troubleshooting. If the issue persists , see the next step. Step three: Remove unnecessary software programs Follow these steps to remove unnecessary software programs. Click Start , click Settings , click Control Panel , and then click Add/Remove Programs . Select a software program to remove, and then click Add/Remove . Repeat these steps for all software programs you want to remove. If you remove large software programs, run Scan Disk and Defrag on the hard disk drive. Look for these options in the System Tools section of Accessories

I cannot access the navigation on the sylvania gps.what is says is it "not enough storage space available.to start application,make sure you have at least 5MB available.can you please heilp me.thanks

Hi,
Its obvious from the problem you are experiencing with your GPS device that,the memory space available on your device is not enough to effectively run the navigating application on your sylvania,hence its requesting for sufficient memory,
This might be as a result of the fact that the device is either corrupted by a virus,or it's memory is insufficient for the navigation application,

The solution goes as follows;
1.Insert an external memory card of the right specification(at least 1GB) into the memory slot provided.
2.If the problem persists,then you should perform a hard reset on your device,which is clearly described in your user manual.afterwards the problem will be solved.

Thanks and take care

Slow Laptop Computer

Hi,

There could be a variety of reason(s) why the laptop is slow. If initially the unit was fast enough for your applications, it maybe that there are a number of programs running simultaneously and/or harmful to your PC. Pls try:
  • run/scan with your antivirus and/or an online virus scanner/remover;
  • Download AdAware by Lavasoft, install, scan and delete unwanted entries;
  • Go to Start, Run, type "msconfig", goto Startup tab and uncheck all programs except those that you feel are necessary such as your antivirus;
  • In your System Properties Advanced tab, Performance Settings button, select "Adjust for best performance", and in the Advanced tab, change your Virtual Memory to double your onboard real memory.
Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards.

Thank you for using FixYa.

I've Run Out Of Memory Without Adding Anything New To The System

Hi,

When you deleted files, what you are freeing is hard disk space and not memory.

What I suspect is that at startup, your PC loads a number of programs that may or may not be essential for the system operation but nonetheless uses memory. This greatly reduces available/free memory and when you really want to run an application, the PC has no more memory to spare.

The easiest way I could think of to free up more memory is to streamline your startup applications. This could be done by running your System Configuration Utility (Start/Run, type "msconfig" less the quotes, Startup tab).Try to Disable All or uncheck all entries (except perhaps your antivirus and any application that you feel may be essential).

Additionally, you can increase your virtual memory. This could be done in your System Properties/Advanced tab/Performance Settings button/Performance Options Advanced tab/Virtual Memory Change button and select Custom Size. Numbers should roughly be equal to twice your real memory (say onboard is 512, then virtual = 1024). You need to click on the Set button, OK,OK,OK and reboot.

Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards.

Thank you for using FixYa.
