I have a brother Fax-2920 and everytime it prints, the paper is jammed at the fuser kit... i tested the drum in another fax machine and it works fine. can anybody help... what could be causing the problem.. Please!
This is a common problem and does need a service engineer, the four fuser exit roller assemblies need replacing as they have been upgraded to address this problem.
FYI the parts cost approx
The problem answers itself for you ... the drum is fine in the other machine so the fuser section is the problem you could take the unit out and check the guide rollers or check you paper isnt getting cold or damp as this will cause it to curl at the fuser stage.. if you get a heavier piece of paper or photo paper and pass this through the system it may help clear any foriegn objects like torn paper or dirt out of the paper path if you look at the fuser you might see the guide fingers are off centre also if it is getting stuck on entry also clean the rollers that feed the paper tray with some cloth and glass cleaner as some times they pick up dirt and slip on the paper also when you have the drum out check inside the machine to look at the sensors and feed rollers to see the condition they may be worn or dirty.. good luck .A

I am having the same problem with my 2920 and I am stumped on what the problem is. I considered buying a new fuser but it is a pretty new fax machine and it doesnt make sense why it would go bad that fast. There is no paper in there I am almost positive.... HELP!!!
