if the drive button marked, eject is dead here are the possible.s
1:drive is dead. (called bad)
2: cables to it fell off.
3: a disc inside is broken or label fell of jamming it. the paper clip eject now works.

I dropped it and now the dvd portion wont work

change the dvd mechanism as a new unit whole or dissamble it and check for damage on everything that is mechanical for bent anything inside. you could get lucky and a mechanical problem. new one would best dvd

Magnavox DVD eject button fell in TV

Take a close look where the plastic button was--it if there would engage a tiny round black rubber like button---using a pencil eraser see if you can gently push the button.

Dvd jammed in machineand will not eject.

Just take off the screw off the top cover to remove it. Then, slowly turn the driving gear of the DVD tray till it
come out, and removed the dvd. Replace the top cover,
and screw it back. Send your e-mail when it is done.
