-   it heats up but doesnt stay on long enough to dry the clothes which dial do i set it to make it stay on to dry the clothes it goes off after a couple of minutes-   andy123a
the dryer has 2 thermostats if these are blown then the heater wont work but you can check to see if the element is burned out by unplugging your machine opening the top off it the wires that plug into the element replace with a plugged wire with bare wires on the end place each wire into the correct connector and turn the plug on this will either heat the element up or if it doesnt then the element is blown m8

hi,
our candy aqua 1000T trips its fuse somewhat arbitrarilly. sometimes it works fine for wash after wash, and then it will trip, and we won't be able to get it started again for up to a month.
we've lived in 2 different places with it, so we don't think its the electrics in the house, but we can't seem to find a correlation between the power being cut out, and anything else! doesn't seem to be related to the cycle its on, or what is in the washer, but ideas are welcome!!
thanks,
erin

There is excessive play on the drum mechanism and the rubber (possibly called the door seal) has partially disintigrated, which is preventing the drum from going round (even manually ) Whilst I know a definate replacement (door seal ) is needed, could anyone tell me me if it is possible that anything has caused this to go, such as the bearings, or do door seals just go? Any help or feedback would be appreciated..many thanks in advance. Jay
