Re: cleared storage

I purchased the HTC S620 in DUbai, and noticed the regional settings are set to arabic. Can anyone tell me how to set them to english, as i can't read the menu as its in arabic. Perhaps if some knows the numbers. Thanks

Re: cleared storage

The user manual for this phone ( available at ) says this: To change regional settings 1. On the Home screen, click Start > Settings > Regional Settings. 2. In Language, select your preferred language. Hope this helps!

How to change MDA T mobile language from Dutch to English

You can try doing a hard reset and it will probably give you the option once you do that:

To hard reset the device, perform the following steps:1. Tap Start. 2. Tap Settings. 3. Tap the System tab.

4. Tap the Clear Storage icon. 5. Type the indicated word or numbers, and tap Yes. The device resets and powers on.

Hello! I have a problem. My HTC Diamon 2 in Russian I need to change it from Russian to it possible? and can u help me please how to do it step by step, Thank U VERY MUCH

If you perform a hard reset, it should allow you to choose the language the phone displays. Just be sure to back up all your info/programs you have on the phone because it will go back to factory default when you do this!!!

Performing a hard reset
If a normal reset does not solve a system problem, you can perform a hard (full) reset. After a hard reset, the device is restored to its default settings—the way it was when you first purchased it and turned it on. You will lose any programs you installed, data you entered, and settings you customized on your device, and only Windows Mobile® software and other pre-installed programs will remain.
Warning! Your device will be set back to factory default settings. Make sure that any additional installed programs and/or user data have been backed up before you perform a hard reset.
Important If Encrypt files when placed on a storage card is enabled, backup all files from the storage card before using Clear Storage, hard reset, or updating the operating system. Otherwise you will no longer be able to access the encrypted files on the storage card. Use ActiveSync or Windows Mobile Device Center to transfer files between your storage card and computer. After the procedure, copy your files back to the storage card.
To perform a hard reset
With the device turned off, press and hold the VOLUME UP and VOLUME DOWN buttons, then briefly press the POWER button.
2. Continue pressing the VOLUME UP and VOLUME DOWN buttons until you see this message on the screen:
This operation will delete all your personal data, and reset all settings to the manufacturer default settings. Press VolUp to restore manufacturer defaults, or press other keys to cancel.
Release the VOLUME UP and VOLUME DOWN buttons.
4. Press the VOLUME UP button to perform the hard reset, or press any other button to cancel the reset.
Using Clear Storage
If you can access the device settings, you can use Clear Storage to reset your device back to factory default settings.
1. Tap Start > Settings, and then tap All Settings.
2. On the System tab, tap Clear Storage.
3. Enter "1234" and then tap Yes.

Phone hang and momery full

You transfer all the files stored in the device memory to storage card by using the file explorer or by connecting the same with the PC.

Sync all the data including the note calendar etc with the computer using the Windows mobile device center (you can download the same in the link ).

Click on the clear storage by navigating start>settings>system>clear storage and verify the same by 1234.

Caution all the software will be removed and it can be restored by means of the launch program in the computer start menu.

After the phone is restored to the original state sync the phone with the PC and use the launch program to restore the installed applications.
Make sure to install all the applications in the storage memory and the data too.

You need to call your Mobile Operator for the Internet settings as they are specific to the Mobile Operators.

G1 screen slide probem

ya......sorry guys. sounds like the phone is stuck on 'landscape mode'

you can try to reset it, but i doubt that this will help. you might need to contact t-mobile and get the thing replaced for the internal sensor that recognises the phoen is closed is just not registering.

either way t-mobile HAS to attempt try this reset. it might just save you a phone call.

keep in mind, doing this master reset will clear all settings installed on the handset and clear out any personal data. if you can at leaset remember your gmail username and password, your contact info and calender info will be restored.....

if that doesnt work and you just cant get into the phone, try doing this:

with the phone OFF press the house and the power buttons at the same time until a triangle with a yellow '!' shows up. as soon as you see that icon, release the keys and slide open the keypad. pres the 'ALT' and 'W' keys at the same time and wait for the phoen too boot up and attempt it again.

T-Mobile's number is 1800-937-8997 if that doesnt work. and ask for another phone. good luck all.
