At the finish of time recording, it keeps turning it self off

When you set the timer at the end of the timed recording, the player turns it self off, and there is no indercation lights at the front of the player. The only way to restore power to the unit is to turn it of at the plug and leave for 1/2 than hour, then turn it back on to restore power to the unit
