Problem for Epson Stylus DX4200 All-In-One InkJet Printer
Communication error
my epson dx4200 won't print anymore when I do a status check it says communication error. I checked cables turned it off and on reinstalled the drivers nothing helped.

- tried a new cable still the samei get a notification that i branched an usb device on the computer.
In the device manager there are no exclamationmarks but I reinstalled the driver anyway. Setup didn't find the printer so I had to manuallyselect usb printerport.
rebooted
But still same problem
I think something broke in the usb connector in the printer

when you connect the printer to the computer, do you hear a sound or see a notification that a device is connected?
if not , i would try a different usb cable, or try a different usb port.
if you do , then it's probably a driver problem, check control panel,system, device manager, hardware, and see if you have an exclhamation mark on the printer, if you do, try to reinstall the driver.

- check the pins inside the usb connector in the printer, if they are bended try to straighten them with a litlle screw driver.Yes
