I just built an Intel P Dual Core 2GB RAM 450W PSU
PNY MoBo 775 Socket XFX GeForce 9600 GSO Graphics Card

Diamond Sound Card 32Bit
Zalman CPU cooler
Everything turns on the Blue LED on the front Case and CPU Fan LED
waiting to install my case fan later on.. when my PC actually can display an Image
I've tried to check for Faulty parts.. but im pretty lost..
first 2 attempts it Beeped 3 times
3rd time it stopped
Well depending on your bios version, it could be an array of things.
First try removing the video card and re-seating it.
Then re-seat the RAM.
If the problem persists re-seat the CPU.
Let us know the exact model of your motherboard so we can better troubleshoot your problem.
When you turn on your computer the system does a POST (Power On Self Test). If the POST sees an eror it will tell the BIOS (Basic Input Output System) and the BIOS will beep a code or display a code that indicated the problem.
Different motherboards contain different BIOS versions. BIOSes use different beep codes for problems depending on the manufacturer.
First make sure your video card has its auxiliary power plugged in.
If it is try removing the video card and hooking up to the on board video.
But yeah, that video card definitely needs a 550W PSU minimum. Especially a GSO.
So I would recommend picking one up on tigerdirect, zipzoomfly or newegg.com
Hope it works out. let me know if it doesn't.

GeForce 7150 NForce 630i
I'm gonna try for a second attempt today
What are the Odds of a faulty CPU?
oh and could it still be a faulty MoBo even if my CPU/Fan LED and Power Switch /front LED Case lights turn on?
Also would resetting the BIOS help?
would that be the case?
I think it came with a faulty IDE Cable...
my DvD-R wont turn on when i plug the Cable in and my HDD/IDE doesn't power up but does when i unplug it and use my older one
it runs i still don't understand.. how would i know if my CPU isnt Faulty Can't change anything in the BIOS with no display...
even my Fan Controller works
