I have a Used Acer Aspire E360 2.0 GHz Athlon Dual Core Tower, and cannot find the Driver for the 9 in 1 Card reader which is part of the computer system. Does the driver really exist for this older Computer?

- Thanks to all for the assistance in my problem analisis, firstly I cannot go the route of going online with driver analysis sites, because I don' have access to the Acer Aspire E360, because I gave it to my Son and he doesn,t have access to the internet. Secondly, your input was very helpful because I know I may have go back to Windows XP for complete satisfaction... Again Thanks...
- Grrr! I knew that would happen....on the previous comment, the link will take you to the page to select your model. Select "Desktop" in the Product Line menu. E360 is the first one to show in the model box. Just click on Search to get to the download page for your system.

- Did this system come with Windows XP originally?

- OK, it looks like Acer does not offer a Vista driver for your reader. One other suggestion would be to go to www.driverdetective.com and run a scan to see if it can detect your reader and offer a driver for your system. You may have to pay a small fee if one is available. I am not very optimistic though.

- Lew, here is the site I was thinking about. Ignore driverdetective in the previous comment.
But supposed to be, your 9 in 1 card is a plug and play (if you're using XP) but still try checking if you installed your other drivers (e.g chipsets) this may be your problem

Umax 2200 usb scanner & Vistascan 3.55u in Windows XP Scanner installs to the default XP scanning software, but I have not been able to install the scanner so that it works with the Vistascan software. I much prefer Vistascan as it is much more user friendly & offers more flexibility. Any help would be appreciated.
