I have a Panasonic SC-HT75 Home Theater Surround System that has a receiver that is shot. Can I replace the receiver with an SA-HE75? I called Panasonic and they didn't have a clear answer.
Thanks for your help!

- So I take this to mean that the front and rear will work, but the subwoofer will not, is that correct?
the difference is the "same speaker connections"
the front and rear will connect the same but the subwoofer is amplified by the HT75 , and the HE75 does not have an internal amp for the subwoofer speaker , only a "pre output"(has to be amplified)

- yes that is correct , with the new reciever you will have to amplify the subwoofer as the new reciever does not do this for the subwoofer speaker
