My Bosch Nexxt 500 dryer is TOO HOT.

The dryer is drying too well... so hot that you cannot hardly touch clothing once its done. I can see that air is coming out of vent, so I do not think the exhaust is totally plugged, but it has not been cleaned in years.

You need to take care of this right away. Too many houses catch fire from lack of maintenance on dryers. Pull it away from the wall and unplug it. Check the inside of the duct work and clean it out. Then check the inside of the drier connection too. Run it without the duct connected and see if you have good air flow.

SOURCE: I have a Bosch Nexxt 500 series dryer. Today I was

Hello, Welcome to FixYa. There are a couple of scenarios which may prevent the dryer from starting with Bosch, but based on your post it is most likely the emergency shut off/belt switch. It is located by the motor and in the event of too heavy a load or a broken belt it shuts the unit down & prevents any restart...until it is repaired or reset. To save time and back and forth dialog, I`ll mention what to do about it. **Unplug the dryer before attempting any repair tips suggested here please...safety first** This will require you to remove the back panel. Once you've remove the rear panel, It is located next to the belt pulley and all you need to do is push it to the right ( from the back ) Let me know if you require further assistance to do this. Keep me posted how you make out or if anything is not clear. I'm presently on my iphone, but I can post more info with pictures to guide you if necessary...but please let me know. Thanks for choosing FixYa and good luck. Regards, Macmarkus :)

SOURCE: Bosch Dryer doesn't dry clothes

With the dryer not connect to the external venting turn the dryer on and see if there is air coming out ot the vent from the dryer. Is this flow of air strong or weak?
If weak then there could be a problem inside the dryer some where. Perhaps the fan is not operating properly. Just my thoughts.

You say you have check the beginning and end of the duck vent pipe. How about seeing if it venting duct is clear from one end to the other.

Good luck

SOURCE: My WTL 5410 dryer (electric condensation) has hot

Hello,

Welcome to FixYa.

You are correct, the unit being a condenser model doesn`t require any additional venting or exhaust to outdoors, that is the purpose of condensing the moisture internally.

As to the issue of air flowing out of the unit I`d suspect perhaps the heat exchange may need cleaning, if it is plugged it will cause the air to be directed elsewhere.

I`ve attempted to attach below the procedure for cleaning, if unsuccessful for whatever reason, too small for example, you or your landlord can email me at [email protected] and I can send you the "pdf" guide for your Bosch dryer.

Keep me posted on your findings and I`ll try to assist you further if need be.

What could be a cause of water leaks from Bosch Nexxt 500 gas dryer?

Since there is no water lines connected to a Bosch Nexxt WTMC 6500 gas dryer, the water leak has to be from excess water from the clothes you are trying to dry. Which is probably more the problem.

Does your washer leave an excessive amount of water in the clothes after the spin cycle?

Bosch Nexxt 500 Plus Elect Dryer Error E01

Absolutely those dryer sheets are the root of all evil....I would also recommend a good vent brush to clean your dryer vent.
Follow these steps, it worked for me:
1. use a shop vacuum to clean out the dry vent or a vent brush.
2. Clean your lint filter with windex, hot water and and soft bristle brush.
If this doesnt work try running the until disconnected from the vent for a cycle to isolate the vent as your issue.

Cheers!
