My tiger shark won't run a full cycle because it stops when it hits my ladder.

I bought the Hayward Tiger Shark last summer. I was Told it would take a few full cycles for it to learn my pool. I can't get it to run full cycle because when it touches the ladder in the shallow end it stops and I have to turn it off at the power supply and restart it.

The power supply powers on even when it doesn't output any voltage, so it's kind of misleading. You should have the power supply checked or you can do it yourself if you have a multi-meter, by measuring the output and making sure there is 24V.

Tiger shark won’t seat properly on tiled floor

there should be a round weight the is around the end of the suction hose. this weight should be free moving. the weight helps keep the tiger shark to the floor. good luck.

Our Tiger shark has to be hauled out of pool by power cord. The cord has frayed and the shark won't run. Where can I have it repaired? I live in Gainesville Fl.

the power cord can be changed by a service pro. there are special tools required to perform this task. not to judge, but exercise more care when removing the unit. According to the hayward website, there are two dealers in gainsville at your disposal. they are both 'pinch a penny' stores. this link should take you to the address

I'd get on Hayward Pool Products website and contact them to find your nearest authorized repair site. The unit should certainly still be under warrantee. Don't try to fix it yourself, that voids the warrantee (true for almost all pool equipment)

Was the store able to scan the motor to pull out operational info? Was it water tested prior to being returned to you? Perhaps the store will make accomodations to get it returned and repaired correctly?
