Problem for Dell Motherboards
Generic problem for all Dell Motherboards

Motherboard powers up for 2 seconds the...

motherboard powers up for 2 seconds then down on dell dimension 2350
fans start then immediately go down...pulled power supply and replaced but still same problem

if you have the knowhow, do the following

remove your CPU fan which comes with a heatsink,

then apply some heat sink compound paste on your heatsink where the heatsink makes contact with your CPU.
then connect your heatsink and fan, lock them into position and turn on your PC.
