Wintrust.dll error So it all started with me holding down the power button of my computer and shutting it off but when I turned it back on the next day this thing called Wintrust.dll had really knocked my computer up. I can't download anything, I can't update anything and I can't even have sound! I don't want to invest in another computer so I'd like to find some answers on here.

SOURCE: Dell 5150c shuts down orange flashing light

It was a faulty or worn out power supply fan. I just replaced it and the computer has been running for about an hour and a half and still no shut down. The system temperature is stable. It runs quieter now. New fan cost 13.88CAD.

SOURCE: Dell 5150c shuts down orange flashing light

As a temporary measure, taking the side panel off the dell 5150c stopped it from shutting down, so in my case it was clearly a heat problem, as suggested by previous the poster. The following instructions assume you're comfortable replacing computer hardware components - do at your own risk!

The solution is to buy an 'air duster' and some thermal compound for the CPU heat sink. If your CPU fan doesn't sound healthy (mine didn't), also buy a new one (ca. £20 on ebay: search for G9474 ).

Read the service manual: http://support.dell.com/support/edocs/systems/dim5150C/en/sm/index.htm for details on how to install / remove the fan and heat sink.

Clean out dust from the heat sink with air duster. Remove the fan, and clean or replace (recommended). Also clean the grill in front of the fan. Clean off old thermal compound from the CPU / heat sink and replace with a thin layer of fresh compound. Replace heat sink and side panel and you're done.

If you have windows 7 installed, then see if you can boot to the DVD and run a repair on the OS. You also may want to run a diagnostics on the system if you can get to the F12 menu

Can not sync my ipod to my itunes keeps saying unknown error 1437.. dont know what to do next

Hi smdente... Anyone having problems with the error "1437" I have been searching the internet high and low and have done so much and I believe I have finally found a way to fix it. "1437" is the error where your ipod just wont register as an ipod and when it finally does it will begin to restore but corrupt halfway through saying error 1437.

First of all I got this code which you save in Notebook as appleipod.bat

regsvr32 /s softpub.dll
regsvr32 /s wintrust.dll
regsvr32 /s dssenh.dll
regsvr32 /s rsaenh.dll
regsvr32 /s gpkcsp.dll
regsvr32 /s sccbase.dll
regsvr32 /s slbcsp.dll
regsvr32 /s mssip32.dll
regsvr32 /s cryptdlg.dll
regsvr32 /s initpki.dll

You save as that to your desktop exit out of it then double click on it. A black screen will come up, load, then disappears.

Reset your unplugged ipod by pressing the center and menu button, once the apple logo appears press the center and play/pause button until it does into disk mode. Once in disk mode plug it into your computer and wait for itunes to register it and restore! KABOOM! fixed.. well, at least for now. I dont know if this was just by chance but this last step with the resetting your ipod didnt work the first time for me so I continued my google quest and on another website there was one more step. To have you ipod off and fiddle with the "hold" button the the top left of the ipod while off and then start the steps. It could have just been by chance but it worked so do try. Do you have solutions to solve error code 80072f19 for messenger

This worked for me:

Start IE & select Menu - Tools - Internet Options - Advanced
Under Security Section - Clear the "Check for server certificate revocation (requires restart)” check box

Start MSN Messenger beta 7 again & you'll have to issue your passport account information again. You'll receive one more error. Login again and it will work.

I have the same regsvr32 wintrust.dll error code 0x80070005 i cant log into my hotmail. i found in another forum that i should try running the following: regsvr32 softpub.dll regsvr32 wintrust.dll...

- Double click on the clock in the taskbar and make sure the system clock is set correctly.
- Disable Zone Alarm
- Register softpub.dll using the regsvr32.exe tool.Click Start, and then click Run.
- In the Open box, type regsvr32 softpub.dll and then click OK.
- Do the same for the following regsvr32 wintrust.dll, regsvr32 initpki.dll, regsvr32 MSXML3.dll.
- Restart Windows Live Messenger.

If you are still unable to fix Windows Live Messenger your computer might be infected, I recommend you Download registry cleaner to fix your errors and speed up your computer.
