The solution that worked for me was to backup and then restore.
This you can do via iTunes (plug the iPhone and right click over its icon on the Devices section and then choose Back Up) or by downloading your photos, contacts and other of your important documents to your Mac using i.e. iPhoto (just download your photos) or apps like My Contacts Back Up (it will email you the full list so you can upload it to the iPhone later). Make sure you backup properly please!

Can't pair my iPhone 4s in my 2008 BMW

Make sure that your phone is discoverable, it is amazing how many people dont know that you have to make your phone discoverable for the device you are connecting t to be able to find you.

If it is and works with other devices it may be the BMW version of bluetooth. Just like every other piece of software and hardware newer bluethooth versions are released as time goes on.

As I understand it, Bluetooth on older devices run on a different version of bluetooth to newer devices. This is most often the issue when someone has sync issues. So newer devices will find or link to older ones but not necessarily the other way around. One of my jobs is driving all types of cars and I find that older cars have issues syncing to my iphone than newer ones.

All I can suggest is to try syncing an older phone or device to your BMW just to ensure there are no issues with the BMW connection.

Reset code iphone

I believe the only way to make Bluetooth not discoverable is to turn Bluetooth off all together. It's designed to search for discoverable devices when turned on. I only turn on Bluetooth when using specific devices, else it's a battery hog. Google some sites for saving battery life on a 4S and you'll be surprised what is on that you may not need.

Pairing iphone 4s to 2010 mazda 3 bluetooth

1.) Enable Bluetooth on your phone/device and go to "search for devices" on it. Pic below is the screen on the iPhone, go to "settings" and then "general" to get there:

2.) Push the audio control button on the right side of your stereo on your speed3 a few times until "BT Setup" shows up and then spin to the right to choose "pair device" and click it.

3.) After a delay "Mazda" should show up on your device list on the iPhone. Choose it and then enter the pin "0000" and it should connect.

Same exact problem- music player works fine with headphones

If you had a bluetooth device connected and it did not disconnect properly then the phone may be trying to play the sounds to the bluetooth and not the speaker, Turn the phone's bluetooth off and then on and it should work. Also, if you look at a sound file or video file it will show the bluetooth symbol next to it, which means that it is playing to bluetooth and not the phones other outputs.
