it's a fake program... it's actually a virus.. call a computer person from craigslist.. do not call the geek squad.. they'll scam you for hundreds of dollars
seems one of your tamper swicthes has been activated, you should be able to isolate which one is needing attention and mute the sounder too
It is common for the tampers to fail in very moist conditions ie outside siren boxs exposed to the elements or a rodent has chewed thru your wiring
i could be a simple as a spider sitting on the tyamper switch in side the box.
If your alarm is monitored then you will have to call an alarm company to fix this for you unless you have the right skills to trace isolate and repair this problem,
3 minutes?? does the water run cold then? or just warm?
Is this what the tank you replaced was doing?
If so, then you may have:
1 a recirculating pump instant hot water system thats faulty and allowing cold water backflow into hot water piping.
2 A tempering valve that has stuck, allowing cold water into your hot water system.
Or maybe a broken or missing dip tube in your new heater.
If after 3 minutes the water is coming cold out leave that faucet running and go to heater and feel the hot water outlet pipe from the heater. if that pipe is hot then the heater is not the problem.
If the hot pipe from the heater is cold the heater is the problem.
(Make sure the cold pipe coming into the heater is connected to the Right side marked "cold" !)
If there is a tempering valve by the heater:
feel the output from the tempering valve, if it is cold and the pipe from the heater to the tempering valve is hot, then the tempering valve is the problem.
If all these are OK
somewhere in your plumbing system hot and cold may be connected
possibly a faucet or showerhead that is shut off at the spout/head, but hot/cold handles are left turned on then cold water can backflow thru hot pipe.
Are you sure you did not by anyway temper or delete it? Are you also sure a recovery disk came with your system?
If you are sure you did not temper it and you are sure it came with your system, click "Start", click "Programs", from programs look out for "Recovery Manager". Or Shut down your system, turn it on again, press "F11" before the system starts booting and you will access your system recovery.
PXE or Pixie errors occur when the system tried to boot to the network connection and failed. This error usually occurs when the hard drive fails. If your system does boot to windows and you are just getting the error, then you can change the network card setting in BIOS to turn PXE boot off.
If the error occurs and the system doesn't boot to the hard drive, then the hard drive has most likely failed.
