We sell the beaters at The Mending Shed, they are $8.95 for the set of beaters.
Here is a link to those on our website: http://www.mendingshed.com/kahandbeater.html

SOURCE: kitchen aid mixer

the unit sounds like the drive unit is stripped. if the planitary unit is spinning that gear is ok but the one below that is stripped. which is the one that spins the beater. Usually the professional lines are covered under a 2 year warranty. where as the others are a 1 year. I would contact kitchenaid first and see if your product is covered for replacement. they are really good about replacing faulty units. if not the unit can be repaired. It is a simple process and you can buy the parts off kitchenaid. usually the parts come with instructions as to how to replace them but if not repost to me and ill get you the directions on how to replace it.

SOURCE: Kitchen Aid flat beater leaves carbon on my hands and food

Are you using the white coated beaters or the burnished beaters. If they are the white coated beaters then the finish has come off and the zinc/underneath is rubbing off. Are you using the aluminum looking beaters in heavy acidic applications? if the mixer is new go to kitchaid customer support they will re-place. if your mixer is out of warranty then you need to replace it. about 15.00 t0 24.00 USD. if the problem persists then you may be leaking metal shavings from the planetary head, (I don't think it is happening but it is a possibility) if it is ground metal shavings you have a serious problem. I can't say anymore without knowing more. What application are you getting this result. is it all the time. is it after the mixer sits along time. need more info.

Can I get parts hot kitchen aid hand mixer model khm7twh beater won’t stay in because plastic tabs are broken that hold the beater in

Hello, Joe -

From a post on a YouTube video demonstrating a McGyver-type fix to a damaged beater ring (the plastic piece which holds a beater in place) apparently KitchenAid has discontinued the availability of the beather ring.

This is the link to the YouTube video with the McGyver-type repair demonstrated:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CmS4FbROS50
The comment about the discontinued beater ring is from Dan Peters.

See the information here from KitchenAid:
http://producthelp.kitchenaid.com/Countertop_Appliances/Hand_Mixers/Hand_Mixer_Assembly_and_Operation/Beaters_fall_out

If you decide not to try the McGyver-type repair and choose to purchase a new hand mixer, you may wish to put the old mixer up for sale, to be used for repair parts (since it still has 1 good beater ring.) Or, you can send the old mixer to electronics recycling.

Best wishes.

I have a KitchenAid hand held mixer. The beaters will not stay in. Model # KHM53ER. Would like instructions on fixing it.....also where are parts available, if needed.

Contact an Authorised Kitchen Aid service company and ask them. If parts are available they will be able to source them for you. Start at the Kitchen Aid web site.

I have kitchen aid stand mixer and i can't get the beater to attach because the button is stuck??

The button doesn't move. You must push the beater up beyond th notch and turn it while pushing up.

Kitchen aid khm3wh beaters will not stay in mixer

I fixed mine (my wife's). Kitchenaid 3-Speed Hand Mixer KHM3WH. Here's how I did it.
This is a pretty old mixer. My wife bought it at a thrift store for $1. She brought it home, we found the beaters and whisk beaters on eBay. Paid $34.00 for both sets of beaters, but when we received them we found they would not stay in the mixer. Oh we also bought the alternative/replacement beaters from Sears, parts online. I don't think those will work with my fix. However with some $0.92 rubber washers from Lowe's and a heavy duty paperclip I fixed the mixer, and it works flawlessly. Maybe some stainless steel wire would be a better, more permanent fix.
