Hmmm did you download the game from the internet or did you buy the retail?
Hmmm do my a favor. Go to START and Run (Not sure what it is under Vista) and type in Dxdiag and upload that info here, specifically your display info and let me read it over.
I guess it depends on the OS and Card-type, but from personal experience the video and graphics card are separate. From what it sounds like you cannot play the game because your system specs may be too low, which is why i want to see your DxDiag display info. Are you using any No-CD cracks? Also, if the game up to date? Are you drivers for your graphics's card up to date?

shortcut. "Right click" on the game icon, click on properties. Then click on the "compatibility" tab. Check the "Run this program in compatibility mode for" box then click the down arow and select "Win XP SP2" Click appy then ok. The game should run.

i bought the retail version. used. it starts to work but then quits.
i bought the retail version. used. i'm running windows vista ultimate. the intro video plays but then the game quits. if it were the video card , shouldn't the intro clip not play at all?
