I purchased an echo pb-413 leaf blower in Sept. '08 and when I started in up recently,, I had difficulty keeping it running. I have to run it with the choke partally on and it still does not seen to run at full speed. I did not get an owner's manual with my purchase. I was told when I purchased it that it may need a carburator adjustment at the start of a new season but I am not sure how to adjust it so it runs properly and I don't want to screw it up. Any suggestions?
Check filters, loose screws, carburetor float set properly. Use a 40:1 gas ratio.Check spark plug and spark.
It doesn't appear to be getting enough fuel. Unscrew the "L" and"H" screws about an 1/8 to 1/4 turn. Also at the end of the season run it completely out of gas and you shouldn't have anymore carb problems.
