Question about Compaq Presario 900 /1500 Series EVO n1015v 15. inch LCD Display -285520-001 (285520001) CD-ROM Drive
Every time i start up this message shows up, The image rpcrt4.dll is possibly corrupt. The header checksum does not match the computed checksum. Pls help me asap ... thanks
Hi, I checked my rpcrt4.dll, it is a 5692 kb, a check on the web says it is originally a 323.2 kb file Remote Procedure Call Runtime, v. 5.1.2600.1106 available for download at http://www.dll-files.com/dllindex/dll-files.shtml?rpcrt4 I believe it can also be extracted from the I386 folder of your XP installer CD. If your system will not boot fully, try F8 to boot in Safe Mode. Perhaps it may be worth your while to also do a full scan for viruses or ads/malicious software of your HD. Hope this work out for you. Post back how things are or should you need further information. Kind regards.
