Re: Washer won't drain
Right take your drain hose from under the sink and place into a bucket low to the ground if water starts to drain out then do this until nothing else comes out the door will open after a short time in which you can get your clothes out if it doesnt than you will need to take the washer outside and disconnect the drain hose from your pump you need to take it out because once you full off the hose from the pump you will not be able to stop the flow of water and there will be alot if water comes out then your pump is faulty

Unplug the unit and remove the front panel and look at the space between the motor and transmission find the coupler that connects the two together this could be broken. You may have to lay the unit on it's back to check this out. It's a cheap fix if its the coupler. Let me know.
Try unplugging the washer for 30 seconds then run a rinse and spin cycle. If it is still acting up you can remove the top panel and reach your arm down the front right side and find the door latch assembly. At the bottom up it is a pull tab. Pull that down and you will release the door latch. Image Whirlpool WP8182634 Door Lock Latch PartSelect
Lets try this first!
Unplug the washer for 5 minutes and then replug and try it to see if
this reboots the system like when a computer acts up, we do the same
thing for most electronic devices!
If for some reason this is not helpful, open the user guide and see
what they tell you for this specific machine!
How old is the washer?

My will start to cycle and then it will cease to spin. No grinding, no off balance noise-no spinning=no draining of water from tub/basin. Unplugged it for a full 4 minutes. Plugged it back in. Checked to see if washer was level-it wasn't. Made adjustments to ensure washer was level-EUREKA! washer finished cycle no problem. BOO-HISS! Two loads later, same issue as the first time-washer won't spin. Checked to see if washer was still level-it is, new issue-error coed E20 and all lights blinking. ANY suggestions?
1 Press and hold down 'spin' & 'dry' buttons to unlock controls.
2 Have u overloaded the machine with clothes? Reduce load.
3 Try 'spin' only after putting the clothes. Then put off machine & continue with main cycle.
Three suggestions here........
What is the clothes capacity of the machine; try to limit within capacity. Try the "spin only" function aft putting the clothes. Then put the machine off & continue with the main cycle.
