Need to install java and related programs on my sciphone i9-i68. i assume this is a live phone conversation . my phone number is 410-992-9190.

Java itself is already on the i9 and i68 phones.
http://i68resources.blogspot.com/search/label/games has a link to an archive (rar format) of 25 games that work in the i68 and related i-clones. It also has instructions on how to install them.

Divx greek subtitles

look in the menu and try to change the encoding, There should be 3 options, Unicode, Cyrilic & Greek. Select greek if the .sub or .srt file is in ANSI encoding, or select Unicode if the file is in UTF-8 or Unicode encoding.

To find out the encoding of an .srt file the simpliest thing to do is open them with notepad and got to "File" -> "Save as", The encoding should appear in the bottom of the dialog.

Subtitles

I have the same problem with my Samsung, ιt is the DVD-HD870 and it doesn't recognize all of the greek characters (i get an ο instead of ν & θ)

However, check the file-encoding of the subtitles. If it is ANSI then select greek encoding from the setup menu of the DVD (if available).
