The screen display disappears completely or breaks up and only half of view is visible. It usually sorts itself for a while and then disappears again

Hello,

there is nothing wrong with your screen, the problem is from the flex that connects your screen to the phone's main board. This flex must have worn out that's why your screen is not displaying any picture.

The problem is common with flip and slide phones. The flex gets worn out as a result of constant opening and close of the flip or slide phone.

I would urge you to replace the flex and I am assuring you that your screen will display picture again. You might also be lucky to find out that the flex is not well fix, that is, it may have loosed contact.

If you cannot change the flex yourself, maybe you should take the phone to a local repairer within your vicinity, so that the flex can be fixed/replaced.

Good luck.

Retrieving data, broken screen

hi
The Phone needs a new Keypad flex and most likely a left hinge pin. When the phone is open, the cable runs through the left side of the hinge. It is very common for the hinge pin to become chipped and put a small cut in the Flex Cable.
You can get the parts on ebay. search for motorola v3 keypad flex, and motorola v3 hinge, or knuckle.

thankyou.

Wet screen panasonic toughbook

I didn?t understand exactly what was going on with your LCD monitor, however, if the Windex leaked into the monitor and it no longer works then the answer is probably but depending on what is damaged it may not be economical to do so. If the Windex just leaked into the laptop and it still works then you?ve been luckily. In either case the thing to do is disconnect it from the A/C power source and remove the battery to prevent further damage. You or a repair shop needs to disassemble the appropriate components and remove any remaining liquid immediately.
